Division I

All of the top seeds have advanced to the Regional Finals

North  Regional Finals May 21 at Laurel School

There will be plenty of fireworks in the North Regional Finals as #1 Seed Chagrin Falls meets #3 Seed Medina.  The two teams played to a 14-14 tie in the regular season.  #2 seed Hudson, returns to the regional finals after missing 2007.  The Explorers only loss on the season was by one goal to Chagrin Falls.  Hudson will meet #4 Seed Hathaway Brown.  The Blazers made it to the Final Four in 07, but upsetting #1 seed Medina, so they are a tournament tough team, looking to return to the prom in 08.

SouthCentral Regional Finals May 21 at Dublin Jerome

Familiar faces in the SouthCentral Regional Finals, it's a repeat of the 2007 version.  #1 Seed Upper Arlington will meet #4 Thomas Worthington.  Last year the Bears came from behind to edge the Cardinals 7-6, so TW will be looking for revenge.  #2 Seed Sycamore and #3 Seed Columbus Academy played what many fans felt was the best game of the entire 07 Tournament in last years Regional Finals, with the Lady Aves winning 11-10 in Overtime.  The Vikings are playing as well as anyone in the state right now, and the Lady Aves showed they are not invincible when UA snapped their 34 game win streak.  So expect a repeat of last year's thriller.
