  The only blemish on the Chagrin Tigers record against OSLA North teams was a 14-14 tie with the Medina Bees.  That made Senior Tina Montello and her teammates very unhappy.  Montello came out firing against the Bees and the Tigers never looked back, as they charged back the OSLA Final Four with a 20-9 win over the Bees.  Montello finished the game with 9 goals and 2 assists.  She had plenty of help as Megan Takacs had 3 goals and 2 assists and Paige Lingafelter chipped in with a hat trick and 1 assist.

    The Tiger defense was solid, lead by Dana Burrello's 9 saves. The Tigers held the high scoring Bees to their lowest point total of the year. The win earned the Tigers a re-match with defending State Champion Sycamore ...and it's obvious the Tigers like re-matches...

Lady Tigers win convincingly over Kent Roosevelt in the regional semi-finals. Scoring for Chagrin: Megan Takacs ( 4g, 3a), Tina Montello (3g, 2a), Liz Seidel (3g), Kat Lipp (1g, 2a), Trisha Burrello (1g), Emily Yang (1g), Paige Lingafelter (1g), Jessica Ertel (1g), Sarah Edelman (1g), Meghan Shroyer (1g). Dana Burrello had 7 saves.

The Tigers jumped ahead moments after the opening whistle and led going into the half. The momentum shifted to the determined Blazers in the second period, who tied the game mid-way through. After the teams exchanged a series of goals, the Tigers took the lead for good. A balanced Chagrin scoring attack was lead by Tina Montello (4 g, 1a), Megan Takacs (3g, 2a), Paige Lingafelter (3g, 1a ), Liz Seidel (2g, 2a), Kat Lipp (1g), Trisha Burrello (1a), and Jessica Ertel (1a). Dana Burrello had 4 saves.

Medina stormed back to make the game an exciting

seesaw battle that lasted through double overtime and

a scoreless sudden victory period. Scoring for the

Lady Tigers were Tina Montello (5g, 1a), Megan Takacs (3g, 2a),

Kat Lipp (4g), and Paige Lingafelter (2g).

Goalie Dana Burrello had 8 saves.
