Hudson Coach Joya Mitchell celebrates with her former player, Christy Finch of the NCAA Champion Northwestern Wildcats. The Explorers will be looking for a Championship of their own this weekend.

Sticks Up! Congratulations to Hudson Coach Joya Mitchell. The Explorers 14 -4 victory over Laurel was the 100th career win for one of Ohio's outstanding lacrosse coaches. Her school recognized the mile stone at left.

Explorers Earn Final Four Berth With Comeback Win Over Blazers

   It was "Lucky 13" for the Hudson Explorers as they notched their 13th win in a row to earn their first trip to the OSLA Final Four since 2005. Hudson's 9-6 comeback win over Hathaway Brown also meant a Regional Championship.   The Explorers will meet the State's #1 team Upper Arlington in the semi finals. The win was Hudson's 19th of the year against just one loss. That loss was by one goal to the Chagrin Tigers. Hudson fans would love to see an "All North" OSLA Final and a chance at revenge against the Tigers.

Explorers Stay In the Hunt With Big Second Half Knocking Medina From Unbeatens..

   In a tail of two halves, the Hudson Explorers knocked the Medina Bees from the ranks of the unbeatens with a 15-14 win. The Explorers swarming defense and solid work between the pipes by keeper Jacqui Gemberling in the second half carried the Explorers to a big win in the OSLA North. (Game pictures click HERE)
