After fighting goal for goal for the first 15 minutes of the 1st half the Eagles of New Albany kicked it in gear and ran off 4 unanswered goals to take an 8 -3 halftime lead and went on to win 15- 5 over the Anderson Lady Orange on a rainy afternoon in Cincinnati.

The first half belong to the Bears taking an 8-1 lead into halftime. The young Eagles made their adjustments and dominated the second half holding the Bears to one goal while scoring 10 of their own. Leading the way was Molly Hamilton with 3g, 1a; Cara Hernandez 3g; Andrea Ebeling 3g; Murphy Ferguson 1g and Cara Laviola 1g.

The 2008 season starts off with a bang for the defending Division II State Champs.
