This page is dedicated to information from Ohio's two non-scholastic club teams. Ohio Premier Lacrosse in northern Ohio and the Midwestern Force in central Ohio. Both of these teams provide high school players off-season playing opportunities and instruction to improve their play.

Midwest Force Has Successful Summer

Midwestern Force has been busy traveling with it's 115 membership base to multiple recruiting showcases thru out the summer. It started it's road trip with IWLCA tournament in Downingtown, PA in early June and continued with National Draw, MT. Laurel, NJ, Vail Shoot Out, Vail, Colorado, All Star Express, Kent Island, MD, Louisville Play day, Louisville, KY and Indian Prairie Tournament, Naperville, IL.

At all functions the teams fared well. At the start of the Vail Shoot-Out, the HS group was ranked overall 28th and after the first rounds of pool play they advanced to the championship gold bracket. This continued to keep them in the top group of teams for the tournament and finished over all sixth for the event. For the Indian Prairie Tournament the group traveled to Naperville, IL with two teams. The "Storm MWF team" came in Sixth overall for their age appropriate bracket and the "Wind MWF Team" came in first over all for their age appropriate bracket. Alex Thurner (Summit), Gabby Sinmaz (Dublin Jerome) and Kaila Roberts were all named to the ALL TOURNAMENT team for their play.(Wind Pictured below)

As MWF heads into the fall season it continues it's travels with Downingtown Fall Classic, Downingtown, PA, St Paul's Classic, MD, and Naval Academy, MD. In addition it will resume it's open training sessions with the next training at University Of Cincinnati on September 30th, 11 am- 2pm. More information will be available for anyone who may want to attend shortly. Midwestern Force opens up it's membership starting in November for any player in 6th-11th grade for next summers season. Current members are from OH, IN, KY,PA, WI, MI and IL. Currently the club represents 39 rising seniors and most of them plan on taking their game to the next level. We wish them the best of luck as they transition to collegiate lacrosse.
