Ohio Summer Leagues

   HB Summer League Starts June 16

Who:  all Intermediate & Advanced High School players, College players and Post College players.  Sorry, this is not for new players.  All Players must have US Lacrosse membership number- www.uslacrosse.org.

 What:  HB Summer Lacrosse League- Opportunity to play with and against other area high school, college and post college players.

 Where:  Ursuline College- 2550 Lander Rd., Pepper Pike, Ohio.

 When:  Games will be played Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30- 8 p.m.  Dates for playing are:  June- 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 July- 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21,

GENERAL INFORMATION
Location:        Hudson's East Woods School

Times:        MS Girls 5:00 pm; HS Girls/Elite 6:15 pm & 7:30 pm

Greater Cleveland Lacrosse will hold its Women's “Summer League” at Hudson's East Woods School.    
Participating girls/women will play 7 games and compete for the Summer League Championship, “THE WATERMELON BOWL”.
You are invited to come have fun in the sun while enjoying the opportunity of playing against the area's BEST competition.
The Summer League is open to all players entering grade 6 and above.   
Players are placed into the division of play that matches their grade level. All games will be officiated by certified referees.   

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The Summer League Player Fee is $85.00. Registrations received after June 1 will be $95.00 ($10.00 late fee).
The pre-registration deadline is Saturday June 7 (waiting list begins on June 7).
League registration is open on a first come, first served basis.
The fee covers each player's jersey, t-shirt, game operations, and league registration.   
Online registration opens on April 8 via Active.com and the Greater Cleveland Lacrosse.com website.   There is a small online fee for credit card users.  
No refunds will be granted after June 11 and $20.00 is non-refundable.
Walk-in registration (on June 11 and 18) is on a first come, first served basis until the league is full.
To register as a player in the league, complete the application form and return it with the player fee to the address listed on the form.

SUMMER LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Summer League will have two levels of play.   
For girls entering grades 7 through 9, there will be the Middle School Division. Girls in this division will be coached and instructed by area high school coaches. The Middle School Division will start games at 5:00.
For girls/women entering grades 10 and above there will be the Open Division.   This division is developed around competitive play. The Open Division will have games starting at 6:15 and 7:30.
All games will be played as two 30-minute running time halves.   
All normal game rules will be enforced. Players must supply their own equipment.   
Proper eye protection & a mouthpiece must be worn.
Sharing of jerseys with non-registered players is strictly prohibited.

* League directors have the right to enforce the expulsion of any player who does not follow the rules & guidelines of the league.
* Players should arrive one half hour before their first game to get their team assignment, jersey, & t-shirt.
